Physical Therapist Assistant Special Interest Groups

The purpose of the PTA SIG is to provide a means by which physical therapist assistants (Physical Therapist Assistant) may meet, exchange information, identify issues, and respond to areas of concern related to PTA SIG members.

Membership in the PTA SIG is open to all affiliate members in good standing within the TPTA.

Meetings of the PTA SIG are held in conjunction with the TPTA Spring and Fall Meetings. Dates and times are published in the Volunteer Voice.

STUDENT SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP (SSIG)

The purpose of the SSIG is to provide a means by which students may meet, exchange information, identify issues, and respond to areas of concern related to SSIG members. The SSIG also promotes membership in and understanding of the APTA among students enrolled in physical therapist and physical therapist assistant programs in Tennessee.

Membership in the SSIG is open to all student members in good standing within the TPTA.

Meetings of the SSIG are held in conjunction with the TPTA Spring and Fall Meetings. Dates and times are published in the Volunteer Voice.
